Strasburg Graduation Information

On Monday, April 20th, Governor Mike DeWine closed school buildings for the rest of the school year. Within his message, he also stated to continue social distancing and avoid mass gatherings. Following Governor DeWine’s announcement, the Ohio Department of Education came out with specific guidelines for graduation. Our administration is working to ensure we follow guidelines, yet create a memorable experience.

We are holding our Seniors near and dear to our hearts.  Our goal is to create a memorable keepsake for them in light of the disappointment, of the inability to follow our school traditions. It is our intent, to make sure each student in the Class of 2020 is given the opportunity to be recognized and honored for their tremendous accomplishments. Strasburg-Franklin plans on graduating each senior “individually” on the original graduation date of Sunday, May 24th. Each senior, along with 6 family members, will be able to enter the building on this date for their individual graduation. Each senior, wearing their cap and gown, will have the opportunity to walk across the stage and receive their diploma. After receiving their diploma, each graduate will then have their picture taken by a professional photographer. At that time, the graduate and their family will immediately exit the building to allow for the next graduate to be recognized. Storied Rivals will be present on this day to record and create an awesome keepsake. All speeches and recognitions that are part of our traditional graduation ceremony will also be included in  ,,,
