Hello! My name is Tanya Horne. I am entering into my eleventh year of teaching and my sieventh year here at Strasburg. My husband, Ron and I live in Massillon and have 3 amazingly different daughters, Rachelle (21) , Danielle (20) and Brookie (6). Brookie is part of the Strasburg family, and is first grade this year. I am a 1996 graduate of Carrollton High School, and received a Bachlor's of Art in Spanish from Kent State University. Go Flashes! While at Kent State I was able to spend a Summer Semester at the Universidad de San José in Costa Rica, where I earned some of my credits toward my degree. I began my teaching career at Minerva High School as a part-time Spanish Teacher and my full time career at Parma City Schools. I taught at Parma for 3 years before becoming a part of the Strasburg Staff in 2014. I teach Spanish, including Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and I also facilitate the CCP classes we offer in conjunction with Stark State College. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my girls at the park or lounging in my parents pool. I love to cook (especially on the grill) when I have time, but most of all I LOVE BEING A TIGER!!!
