Strasburg Yearbook Fundraiser

Yearbook Stoller Fundraiser

Strasburg Yearbook staff is holding a fundraiser.  Money earned from this fundraiser will go towards supporting the 2016-2017 Senoracle.  The cost of publishing is much more than the price collected from the sale of a yearbook.  Therefore, the yearbook staff is asking students, staff and community to help support this fundraiser.

Strasburg's Girls' Golf Team

Congratulations to the Strasburg Tigers’ Girls’ Golf Team!!

The Strasburg Girls Golf Team for the 2016 season consisted of 8 girls Alanna Shelter(Sr.), Kaylah Ullom(Sr.), Brynn Eckhardt(Sr.), Brooke Spinell(Jr.), Olivia Martin(Jr.),  Emalee Nave(So.),  Katie Vranich(So.), Rebecca Sulgalski(Fr). The goal of the team was not to beat everyone they played. The goal was to beat the teams they needed to in order to take the IVC title. With hard work, the goal was met. At the end of the season, the team ended up with a BLANK record. After the regular season, the team had to face the challenge of sectionals. Unfortunately, the team did not move on to districts even though it was one of their best scores for the season.

However individually, Brynn was able to advance to Districts. At sectionals, she shot an 85, and she was able to advance to districts with that number. Unfortunately, at Districts, she did not play as well as she had hoped and did not advance. As a team the girls are very happy with the 2016 season.

Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools’ new website!

I hope you find it informative and helpful.

The tiger has been said to symbolize harmony, beauty, protection, power and justice.  It also symbolizes the struggle and work required to achieve one's goals.

We look forward to working together with parents, families and community members to assist our students in preparing them for their futures.  As a small community, we are challenged by today’s demands of educators, administrators and our Board of Education.  Challenging educational times require us to pull together and work as a team to accept and embrace opportunities.
