Principal's Message

Welcome to Strasburg Elementary School - a wonderful place for children to learn and grow! The staff of Strasburg Elementary is committed to providing an excellent education for our students. A walk through of our building shows teachers, teaching assistants, tutors, custodians, secretaries, cooks, librarians, bus drivers, and volunteers all working together as a team to meet the varied needs of every student in our building.

If you are one of our parents, please take time to:

  • Talk with your child about their school day.  Ask them specific questions about their time at school.  For example, “What was the most interesting thing you did in math class today?” or “Tell me about your science experiment?” opens the lines of communication much better than, "How was school?"
  • Maintain contact with your child’s teachers and staff members, to establish a successful home/school connection.  All of our teachers have school email, following the format firstname.lastname@strasburgtigers.org
  • Check Class Dojo regularly if you are a parent from grades 3 -5, and ensure assignments are completed.  Also review your child’s grades on Progress Book, which will give you relevant information regarding your child’s academic performances as well as their attendance. Your interest and concern in their school progress will motivate them to do their best.

Enjoy navigating your way through our new website, and please contact any one of us with any questions or concerns you may have.  We look forward to making this our best year yet!

Go Tigers!
